Guidelines and Rules:
Guidelines:
- Read over the recipe before class so you know what you’ll be making
- Gather and set out all ingredients before class
- Adult supervision is required while in class
- Class will be occurring on zoom, so you must have your camera on, so teachers can see and correct you
- Make sure you have access to a stove, an electric mixer for baking, and an oven.
- Have fun!
How to come to class:
- Make sure hair is tied back and work space is neat
- If the recipe says to do something before class, make sure to do it, as preparation
- Ingredients should already be measured and put out in an organized manner, and keep all appliances ready.
- It would be a good idea to print the recipe out that way it will be useful during class
- Log onto zoom 5 minutes before class starts, and put your phone/laptop somewhere where it is easy to see what you are doing, and where you can see the teacher.
During class:
- Don’t talk over each other, listen to your teacher
- If you have a question, ask during necessary timings, not while the teacher is helping another student or teaching.
- MOST IMPORTANT- Never do anything before the teacher gives their permission
- Adults should help or be next to you when dealing with hot or sharp things to avoid injury.
