So far, the Women Empowerment Foundation has kept us engaged with various health-related topics through interactive and informative teleconferences throughout the year.
Keeping up with the same enthusiasm of promoting health and wellness, on November 21st, 2020, at 8.00pm via a zoom call, this foundation had organized yet another teleconference on health awareness, this time focusing on ‘Covid -19 Prevention’.
This health teleconference was addressed by Dr. Pavithra Venkatagopalan who leads her own NABH certified diagnostic center in Chennai and Bangalore.
Given that we are all confused, stressed, and getting immune to the idea of dealing with Covid-19, we are always on the lookout to know more about the virus and the doctor has given us every detail that could help us battle against the infection.
That being said, while addressing this event, she spoke on ‘what we need to know about the virus’, ‘what are the recent developments on vaccines’ and the myths about covid-19 that we should stop believing.
Overall, this teleconference was interactive and valuable in terms of gaining knowledge. Besides being a part of this teleconference, she was invited by the Tamilnadu Science Forum on National Science Day and also gave a lecture at the Anna Centenary Library.
Her in-depth knowledge about the subject is seen in most of the covid-19 talk shows that she had done earlier.
