Steps: - Preheat the oven to 400℉
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, shortening, ¾ cup sugar, egg, and vanilla.
- Blend in flour, cream of tartar, soda, and salt into the same bowl.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Take a ziplock and put the tablespoon of sugar and teaspoon of cinnamon in it. Close the ziplock and mix until combined.
- Take a small spoonful of dough and shape into balls.
- Open the ziplock, take the ball of dough and put it in the ziplock and gently shake so that the cinnamon and sugar stick all around the ball of dough
- Repeat step 6-7 till the dough is finished.
- Butter a baking pan, and lay out the balls on the pan. You might have to do it in two batches.
- Bake the cookie dough at 400℉ for 8-11 minutes.
- Immediately shift cookies to a plate and let cool. Enjoy!
